Hello, Everyone this is an event of events for 2012.
Hosted by Bill & Patricia AKA EbonySky. What we haved
planned is a very special {EVENT]. This will be a rare opportunity to
visit one man’s private Tank and Armored Vehicle collection, with lunch
at the Boiler house Restaurant, followed by a visit to the Battleship USS Iowa and Richmond’s Kaiser shipyards “Rosie The Riveter” Memorial.
We will all meet at the Starbuck’s (parking lot) 325 Sharon Park
Dr. Menlo Park Start time is 9:15 am so please be early. This will be a
really great chance to see the historic Millitary Artifacts. From there
we are planning a great spot for lunch. It's in the old FORD assembly
plant and a very historical place in itself. Ford built 49,000 Jeeps
and was one of only three tank depots in the entire United States. In
addition, the finishing touches were put on 91,000 military vehicles
destined for combat at the Richmond Assembly Plant. which is right
across the street from our next stop the USS IOWA. This will be another
great WCKCC event hosted by Ebonysky.
Please take note we
need a head count in order to plan most of the activity associated with
this run so please post your intent.

Lafayette CA was invaded by Kappa car club...
Locals at the weekend social meeting place in front of Peets Coffee Shop could not believe what they were seeing, thirteen Sky's and two sols. Curiosity was all that was on their faces. I could hear them say what kind of car is that who makes them..... We all had our hand full of questions and young kids wanting to sit in them. Dad could we get one??? Others would make their choices on which one they like the best...We could have made the day just showing off the cars... As we left the parking lot I could see all the eyes that wanted to be with us...
We could not have asked for a better day 80 degrees, clear sky just beautiful.. A great lunch in Montclair three campuses some windy roads and big Redwood trees... To wind up a perfect run back to Lafayette for ice cream.
More Runs to come in 2009 Keep tuned....
